Elena Vivas

Elena is from Huelva and is passionate about nature. Ever since she was a little girl, she loves to walk in the countryside, pick mushrooms and asparagus and to fish. This direct contact to nature made her realise she wanted to work in something related to the environment, that is why she became a biologist in Granada University.

She has participated in numerous volunteering works and bird ringing campaigns in both the Odiel Marshes Biosphere Reserve and Doñana National Park. Elena knows the best hikes in Andalusia and is an expert guide in ornithology in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula, including Portugal.
